Speech-Language Pathologist Long Term Substitute, Job Description
Position Summary
Woodlynde School serves students with diverse learning styles and empowers them to become strategic learners and self-advocates in an environment that provides both challenge and support. The speech-language pathologist will be responsible for providing individualized services for students in grades K-12.
Key Responsibilities Include:
  • Provide therapy for students in areas including: language, articulation, fluency, and social communication
  • Administer diagnostic screenings and evaluations as needed
  • Effectively consult and collaborate with faculty to integrate recommended strategies into content area classes
  • Communicates with parents to address student needs, concerns, and progress of treatment
  • Provide written evaluation reports and progress notes 
  • Maintain complete and accurate records that are reflective of a student’s performance and growth during intervention
  • Contribute to and benefit from the campus community
  • Practice professionalism through ongoing professional development, reflection and continuous improvement.
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Master’s Degree 
  • PDE Certification in Speech and Language Pathology
  • ASHA CCC’s
  • Licensed in the state of Pennsylvania
