Director of Facilities and Operations
REPORTS TO:  Superintendent of Schools

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: 12 month Administrative (Act 93) employee - anticipated start date of 06/03/2019
  • Bachelor's Degree in engineering or equivalent area of study preferred.
  • Minimum of five years leadership and supervisory experience in facilities management.
  • Demonstrated leadership in building and grounds operations, preferably in a public education system preferred.
  • Valid driver's license. 
  • Management of buildings, grounds, mechanical and custodial staff.
  • Read and comprehend blue prints, schematics, and equipment specifications.
  • Understand labor regulations, Material Safety, and public safety.
  • Responsible for completion of district, state and federal reports as required. 
  • Monitor/Manage HVAC controls, security access control, and fire alarms.
  • Management of district projects. 
  • Financial planning and fiscal management of district facilities and operations. 
  • Evaluate and implement improvements to efficiency and/or cost savings.
  • Supervise district Safety Committee. 
  • Coordinate all safety related drills and trainings (Fire, ALICE, etc.).
  • Establish and maintain relationships with staff, vendors, and contractors.
