Purpose of Position: (Please see attached job description for full details) The Regional Improvement Team Coordinator will work directly with the Statewide Regional Improvement Team Manager (RITM) and the Project Director to ensure the fidelity and cohesion of supports provided to schools identified for Comprehensive Support and Improvement (CSI) and their LEA. They will also be responsible for collecting evidence related to project deliverables from the Core Team members, School Improvement Facilitators, and LEA Improvement Facilitators in their region. The Regional Improvement Team Coordinators will lead these collaborative efforts using effective communication including email, videoconferencing, face to face meetings, and phone calls.
This position provides critical services that are part of the Pennsylvania’s Statewide System of Support for schools that have been identified as in need of CSI. This work will be done in partnership with IU3, IU13, and IU14 at the request of the Pennsylvania Department of Education. The Regional Improvement Team Coordinators will be accountable for ensuring that all Core Team Members, School Improvement Facilitators, and LEA Facilitators in the region are receiving accurate and timely communication and support.
Knowledge and Skill Requirements:
Education Required: Bachelor’s Degree
Certification or licenses Required: No certification required; Valid PA Driver’s License required.
Experience Required: Minimum of five years of experience in a related field.
Other Qualifications: Understanding of different stakeholder perspectives that are embedded in the nature of complex work. Ability in multi-tasking many large and demanding projects at one time along with many smaller tasks with the ability to prioritize.
