Job Description:
Building Substitute/Resource Room Assistant (Gr 7 – 12)- Full Time
Upper Merion Vantage Academy - Bridgeport, PA
Responsibilities:
Assist students toward their IEP goals under the direction of their special education case manager. Individual and small group interactions in a resource room environment.
Lead sections of study skills classes.
Day-to-day subbing for classes for GR 7-12 as needed.
Morning, lunch, and other day-to-day duties.
Substituting in a small school like Vantage, allows you to get to know and build relationships with all students.
This is a full-time, permanent position working Monday thru Friday during the school months mid-August to mid-June each school year, with 8 weeks off each summer.
Requirements:
Public school certification is required, secondary level content area certification is preferred. Previous experience and/or a desire to work with at-risk students encouraged.
Salary: $35,000.00 - $44,000.00 per year
