We're hiring for the 2026-2027 Academic School Year!

The Principal serves as an educational leader of the school and is responsible for managing the delivery of instruction, policies, regulations, and procedures of OBR, Inc. Accelerated School Model, to ensure that all faculty, staff and students are supervised in a safe learning environment that meets our mission. Achieving academic excellence requires that the Principal work collaboratively with their leadership team to direct and nurture faculty, staff, and stakeholders of the school community. The Principal must communicate effectively with the Leadership team, faculty, staff, students and parents.

Qualifications: PA Certified in Education Leadership & Administration
Primary responsibilities:
Professionalism:
  • Ensure compliance with all laws, board policies, and civil regulations
  • Ensures a safe, orderly environment that encourages students to take responsibility for behavior and creates consistency with the philosophy, values, and mission of the school
  • Establish and promote high standards and expectations for faculty, staff, and students
  • Provide leadership and supervision to those responsible for the discipline systems of the school to ensure a safe orderly climate, building maintenance, program evaluation, personnel management, office operations, and emergency procedures
  • Responsible for providing communication via email, verbally, or in writing to administration, faculty, staff, students and parents, the important information at OBRCHS
  • Keep the faculty and staff informed and seeks ideas for the improvement of the school
  • Complete in a timely fashion all records and reports as requested by the CEO
  • Communicate with the CEO regularly about the needs, successes and general operation of the school
  • Notify immediately the CEO, and appropriate personnel when there is evidence of substance abuse, child abuse, and child neglect, severe medical or social conditions, potential suicide or students appearing to be under the influence of alcohol or controlled substances
  • Establish a professional, positive relationship, and respectful rapport with faculty, staff, students, parents, community leaders, and all outside partnerships that are in the OBR campus
  • Use of effective presentation skills, written and oral English skills, when addressing students, staff, parents, and the community including appropriate vocabulary and examples, clear and legible visuals, and articulate and audible speech
  • Serves as a role model for administration, faculty, staff, students, parents, and outside agencies within the OBR campus, that dressing professionally, demonstrating the importance and relevance of learning, accepting responsibility, and demonstrating pride in the education profession, encourage all teachers to do the same
  • Display the highest ethical and professional behavior and standards when working with students, parents and school personnel
Documentation:
  • Manage, evaluate and supervise effectively, all of the OBR policies and procedures, so that they are clear, for the operation and functioning of the school, so that actions are consistent with the philosophy, mission, values and goals
  • Responsible for making sure total student enrollment is met on a monthly basis
  • Responsible for the supervision and the evaluation that is done twice during the Academic School Year, or as needed, with the directors of OBR INC. on the following OBR employees: Dean of Students, Dean of Academics, faculty, and staff
  • Supervise in a fair and consistent manner by providing effective discipline to employees, monitoring employee attendance, moral and ensure a high standards working environment, with proper documentation of employees not meeting their contractual agreement, and keeping the CEO advised
Faculty & Staff:
  • Oversees the faculty submission of storyboards, documentation of student work into Teacher Grade books in the Power School System in accordance to the requirements of the OBR INC. Accelerated School Model
Curriculum:
  • Oversee the implementation and delivery of the school’s instructional framework and Professional Development
  • Establish procedures for evaluation and selection of instructional materials and equipment, approving all recommendations
  • Establish and maintain an effective inventory system for all school supplies, materials and equipment
Schedule: Mon-Fri, 7:45am-3:15pm
