Job Description:
The Bensalem Township School District is anticipating hiring Special Education Teachers for 2026-2027 School Year. There are several anticipated openings District Wide.
About BTSD: Bensalem Township School District is located in scenic Bucks County, PA. Bensalem is home to approximately 61,000 residents and serves approximately 6,500 students in grades K-12. The District operates one high school, two middle schools, and six elementary schools. BTSD celebrates a diverse student population and a commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion, including the establishment of Board DEI Committee and recent engagement of consultation services. PBIS is present in all District buildings. Social-emotional programming and coaching are established. A peer coaching model is present. One-to-one device initiative present 7-12/all students have devices.
A Special Education Teacher is responsible for planning, organizing, and implementing an instructional program for students identified with a learning disability or other health impairments, to enable them to achieve their maximum potential.
