Job Description:
The Schuylkill Valley School District has an anticipated vacancy for a Business Education Teacher at the high school effective with the start of the 2026-27 school year.  The successful candidate will provide students with foundational knowledge and practical skills in business, finance, entrepreneurship, and technology. The teacher will foster critical thinking, collaboration, and real-world application to prepare students for college, careers, and responsible financial decision-making. Appropriate PA teaching certificate, strong knowledge of business principles, financial literacy, and business technology applications, ability to integrate technology and real-world applications into instruction, excellent communication, organization, and classroom management skills, commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment, demonstrated ability to work cooperatively with others, and acceptable record of attendance required. Master's degree in education, business, or related field, experience teaching at the secondary level, experience with project-based learning, entrepreneurship programs, or career readiness initiatives and familiarity with business software, financial literacy tools, or certification programs are preferred.
