• Starting Salary: From $66,000, based on experience and step placement
• Hard-to-Fill Position Bonus: $2,000 (Math, Science, Special Education, Technology)
• Performance Bonus: Up to $7,500 annually

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver rigorous and engaging math instruction aligned to grade-level standards
• Build students’ skills in:
  • Ratios and proportional reasoning
  • Expressions and equations
  • Geometry
  • Data analysis
• Use assessment data to adjust instruction and support student growth
• Establish a structured, positive classroom environment
• Communicate regularly with families and collaborate with staff
• Participate in school-wide systems and professional development

Qualifications

• Valid PA Teaching Certification (or actively working toward certification)
• Strong content knowledge in middle school mathematics
• Ability to deliver clear, structured instruction
• Strong classroom management and relationship-building skills
• Commitment to student achievement and continuous improvement
