Job Description:
The Director of Employer Partnerships and Outreach Specialist is responsible for managing the development of partnerships between Belmont Charter Network and external communities, to expand the number and variety of experiential learning and full-time employment opportunities for Belmont Charter School students.
 
 
Summary
  • Build new employer relationships for the school and maintain existing partnerships with employers, figuring out companies that would work best with students.
  • Create newsletters and databases to inform students of jobs, apprenticeships, summer internships, and training programs.
  • Coordinate with the career counselors who will aid in facilitating the interview process, offer extension and acceptance.
  • Facilitate various events including workshops, panels, and networking opportunities for students 
  • Establish and analyze success metrics for student post-grad progress, such as: students with job offers, placement rates, salary and stipend rates, and employer partner performance.

Qualifications & Requirements
Qualifications
  • Work experience. 5+ years of work experience in a customer/client facing role, building relationships from scratch and maintaining relationships already built, ideally while working in the employer relations arena within higher education, corporate college relations, or employer recruitment.
  • Tenaciousness. Meet the goals you set for yourself - in fact, you strive to exceed goals set and set the bar higher each quarter for yourself and the team. Ability to work independently through cross functional teams and drive new client development.  
  • Data orientation. Ability to analyze what works and what doesn't, and you take action based upon data. You have experience managing a sales funnel, driving key performance indicators and business development initiatives.
  • Driven to achieve results. Desire to achieve high standards of performance and a track record of delivering exceptional results. Desire to capitalize on opportunities, to strive for constant improvement and development, and to continuously redefine goals and objectives.
  • Team player. Authentic, humble, able to build a positive team spirit and lead through the ups and downs of a launch. Puts success of team above own interests and supports everyone's efforts to grow and develop. Ability to effectively collaborate across organizations and with stakeholders of various background and skill sets.
  • Excellent communicator. Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills, including ability to synthesize data and deliver a clear perspective of strategy, opportunity and risks for Commercial leadership.
  • Oversight Ability. Strong organizational, program development, and creative thinking skills, as well as competency to oversee multiple tasks with keen attention to details.
Requirements
  • B.A./B.S. degree from accredited institution;
  • Pennsylvania State Police Criminal Background Check Clearance (Act 34)
  • Pennsylvania Child Abuse History Clearance (Act 151)
  • Federal Bureau of Investigation Record Check Clearance (Act 114)
  • Sexual Misconduct/Abuse Disclosure Clearance (Act 168)
