Job Description Requirements:
Resume, Letter of Interest
ACT 34 Clearances, ACT 151 Clearances, and FBI Clearance
Must have the ability to effectively solve problems in a professional manner
Degree in Business preferred
Minimum of 3 year's experience preferred
Description and Duties:
To assist the Business Manager with a variety of functions that include:
Provide accounting and clerical support to all departments
Research, track and restore accounting or documentation problems and discrepancies
Function in accordance with established standards, procedures and policies
Maintain all vendor files and employee files for attendance
Process and post all transactions and invoices in computerized accounting software.
Prepare and distribute electronic payments and manual paper checks.
Communicate with vendors regarding concerns/questions on invoices.
Process fiscal and calendar year-end routines.
Remain current on accounts payable procedures and account code classification for a
school business office.
Maintain extensive files for District accounting data and make such files available to authorized individuals, including state and local auditors.
Maintain vendor data base, including current W-9 forms for all vendors.
Assume other duties as assigned by the Business Manager/ CEO
