Job Description:
Director of Enrollment
The Archdiocese of Philadelphia Office of Catholic Elementary Education seeks a dynamic, innovative, visionary, team oriented, results-driven leader for Director of Enrollment.
The Director of Enrollment reports to the Secretary for Elementary Education.The Director is responsible for supporting Elementary Schools and developing effective practices regarding the recruitment activities for prospective students and parents. The Director works closely with the School Principals, the Boards of Limited Jurisdiction, and the Enrollment Staff of the schools. 
Duties and Responsibilities
Working with the Elementary Schools, the Director of Enrollment develops, implements, executes a comprehensive Enrollment Management plan, and establishes short and long-range goals and objectives that support the enrollment needs of the schools.This includes but is not limited to:
  • Helping schools establish a primary point of contact for interested families pursuing enrollment in our schools and supporting them with acceptable procedures to engage prospective families.
  • Work closely with the schools to examine local data to develop an enrollment management plan to present forecasts, trends and strategies for the effective recruitment of elementary school students from Catholic, Public and Charter Schools.
  • Support schools in developing long-range promotional/marketing plans [print, electronic, social media (including Facebook, Twitter and Instagram) and other mediums] and initiatives which support and promote the mission of the elementary school.
  • Work with schools to develop a comprehensive recruiting schedule including visits, open houses and ongoing communication with the community.
  • Work closely with the school faculty and staff, in conjunction with the enrollment staff, to ensure understanding of the school’s enrollment management program and engage them in the process.
  • Provide professional development for school staff to improve enrollment activities.
  • Organizes and maintains financial aid information from current and prospective students.
  • Serve as a member of the Elementary Core team 
  • Provide insight regarding the ability of the student management system to support the enrollment needs of the elementary schools.
  • Remain current on enrollment-management best practices. This may include attendance at national professional conferences.
  • Other duties as assigned by Secretary for Elementary Education.
  • Work with school teams to develop a comprehensive social media plan.
Educational Requirements
Bachelor’s degree, Master’s degree preferred.  Marketing and or Elementary Education Background preferred.

  • Must be able to work in a team environment, be self-motivated and possess strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Exceptional communication skills
  • Possess a high degree of integrity, confidentiality, strong work ethic and a willingness to quickly and continuously gain knowledge of the mission of Catholic Education.
  • Strong management and data analysis skills and the ability to work effectively with faculty, administration, and support staff members.
  • Experience in data systems, preferably student database systems (i.e., Option C), and familiarity with programming and implementation of data in several office environments (Microsoft Office, Google Docs).
  • Experience in communications, marketing, sales, public relations, education preferred.
  • Must have valid driver’s license and ability to drive according to AOP insurance clearance.
 Preferred Skills
  • Basic knowledge of content creation and engagement best practices for social media platforms (Twitter, Facebook and Instagram in particular)
  • Knowledge of email marketing platforms and executing on email marketing campaigns
  • Knowledge of the EITC and OSTC programs sponsored by the State of Pennsylvania

This is a twelve-month, full time position; evening and weekend work is required.
