Lifeworks School in Doylestown, PA is currently seeking a School Counselor to support our school for  the 2023-2024 school year.

SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Provides group counseling on a daily basis to students stressing skill enhancement and emotional health.
2. Provides supportive care and guidance for students to achieve success.
3. Writes monthly reports and narrative notes.
4. Facilitates teacher understanding of emotional issues effecting classroom performance.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor’s Degree in School or Professional Counseling with certification required. Master’s Degree in Human Services field from accredited college or university preferred. Clinically supervised education/training in individual, group and family therapy with LPC credential preferred. Basic computer skills or willingness to learn. Two years experience in a special education school or a school working with adolescents exhibiting emotional and behavioral issues is preferred
